The full on flavour: Face down a fearlessly rich and peaty punch, thick oils and bracing sea spray, tempered with dried spices, banana and dark wood.
The finale: The safety of dry land is in sight. Notes of caramel and cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, add a delicate contrast to the lingering smokiness.
