Tasting Notes
The Colour: Golden Amber.
The Aroma: Bittersweet softness of lime and liquorice, the crystallised fruit of quince, raisin and plum, and the spring undergrowth scent of oak wood and hazelnut.
The Taste: Soft, mellow and complex with crystallised-fruit notes. An ample, round body and a long finish.
"A balanced cognac, marked by an oaky taste. Its time spent ageing in a barrel infuses it with complex aromas along with notes of caramelised dried fruits and prunes. This tone adds a number of rich qualities to a cocktail.” - Christophe Valtaud, Martell’s cellar master.
