Located by the banks of the Chishui River in Erlang Town, which borders the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Sichuan Basin, the environment for brewing is exceptionally favourable. Honghua Langjiu utilises the high-quality water sources from the Chishui River Valley and selects premium glutinous red sorghum and soft wheat from southern Sichuan as its raw materials. The production follows the traditional "Four Highs and Two Longs, Two-Nine-Eight-Seven” method of sauce-flavour liquor brewing. It is crafted and stored using the innovative "Birth, Growth, Nourishment, and Ageing” technique, and is meticulously blended to achieve a distinctive style characterised by a "slightly yellow transparency, prominent sauce aroma, elegant and delicate flavour, smooth and refreshing taste, lingering sweetness, and long-lasting fragrance in the empty glass."
